Getting to Angers

Angers, the capital of Anjou in the Loire Valley, is a human-sized city that is renowned for quality of living, easy to access and a short journey from Paris

Situated at the entrance to western France in the Loire Valley, the city of Angers is a short journey from Paris (1 hr 20 mins by direct TGV), just an hour and a half from the Atlantic coast and no more than four hours from Europe’s capital cities.
Angers is located between Nantes and Le Mans. The city has over 150,000 inhabitants and is part of an urban community of 300,000 people – nearly 50% of which are under 30.

How to get to Angers

The capital of Anjou is a city on a human scale, with an ideally located city centre TGV station, and an extensive public transport network, the Irigo bus and tram system. All of this makes getting around in Angers straightforward.
