Push the door of Myriagone and discover this unusual place that is far from your traditional book shop. You immediately feel good in this hybrid venue combining a bookshop, café and art gallery. You can also view the exhibition of the moment devoted to graphic arts, which runs alongside the extremely selected collection of books chosen by Andréas Lemaire, the Myriagone’s passionate owner. Head to the atrium of the municipal library, just steps from Angers Castle. We love it there! You’ll enjoy a restful view of the garden of the Musée des Beaux-Arts and its many plants. The Toussaint media library will close its doors in January 2024 until the end of 2026 for major renovation and extension work. A city center library, Place Saint-Eloi, will welcome you from February 27, 2024.

It’s impossible not to visit the café cardinal, either, with its minimalistic, bright and modern interior. Whether near the front window or in the room at the back, the atmosphere is perfectly suited to relaxing with friends or family or to reading or working on your own.
