Galerie Bressigny is an artist's studio. It is also an art painting and embroidery school, a place for the transmission of know-how in painting (oil and acrylic), pastel, watercolor, drawing and art embroidery.
The studio is listed in the national directory of art professions, and can be visited on request.
Martine Maudet trained in applied arts at the Pivaut school in Nantes, and has a cap in art embroidery, obtained in Paris. She also took a year's training in tapestry at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Angers, and can weave on both basse and haute lisse looms. As an artist, she is constantly seeking new creative avenues, without ever forgetting the knowledge of her predecessors. Her aim is to combine different artistic techniques to create a unique work. She sculpts, embroiders, weaves, draws, paints and teaches her skills with great pleasure, in the firm belief that practicing an artistic activity is therapeutic and creates a social bond.
