From Plessis-Bourré to the Lower Anjou Valleys

This tour will take you to the heart of the Basses vallées angevines, in the midst of horse breeding with its many stud farms. For a historic stop-off halfway along the route, visit the Château du Plessis-Bourré, a 15th-century architectural gem set in 380 hectares of parkland.

Touristic places
- The château de Plessis-Bourré in Ecuillé has one particularity: its “Transitional” style. It has characteristics of a fortress from the end of the Middle Ages with its defensive system with the Renaissance elegance. The château was also a film location for the production of two movies: “Donkey skin” and “Fanfan la Tulipe”.
