Place de la mairie, 49460 Feneu
Feneu is located on the outskirts of Angers, 9km from the A11 motorway linking Paris with Nantes. Its urban heritage is historically rich and includes châteaux and ancient dwellings: the Château de Montriou with its Chapelle des Trois Marie, a historic monument from the 15th century and the Château de Sautré, a 12th century fortress built on a rocky spur as a defence against Norman marauders.

The town has a rich natural heritage too, especially its bocage - a terrain of mixed woodland and pasture. Nature lovers will appreciate the lush wetlands, home to many species of birds as well as squirrels, hares and roe deer. Feneu can also be regarded as a place where the 'horse is king', hosting an equestrian school and several racehorse training centres.
