All you need is a bike, a few panniers and a thirst for discovery, and you're ready to discover the exceptional playground offered by Anjou.

    Leaving from Angers, set off on a cycling adventure between the Loire and the land of tuffeau. A 275 km exploration, over 2 or 3 days, that promises a great sporting experience in the heart of a remarkable natural environment.

    Itinerary :
    275 km circuit - Gravel or all-terrain bikes recommended - difficult level. Very good physical condition required.

    Be vigilant at major junctions and plan your itinerary well in advance, as there is limited accommodation north of the Loire.

    Open, unmarked trail, self-guided:
    - Starting point: Place Kennedy, Angers (in front of the Tourist Office)
    - Public transport stop (tramway and train) less than 500m from starting point.
    - Elevation gain: 1300m
    - Facing: East and South-East of Angers
    - Recommended period: March to November
    - Tour not passable during flood season
    - Recommended duration: 2 to 3 days

    Recommended overnight stops: Brissac-Quincé, Gennes-Val-de-Loire, Saumur, Baugé-en-Anjou, Beaufort-en-Anjou
