The Church of Saint Marcel was built in XI and XII century in Romanesque style. Formerly built in the priory, the church had a nave with no transept walls and rubble. In the sixteenth century the important work gives the monument its almost final appearance. The tower is oriented, is built on large buttresses, built on an interior gallery on the entire length of the northern part of the building. In the 19th century the architect DUVETRE restores the inner gallery seeking to restore a bit of style, the new structure makes it possible to construct a dome on the steeple with cross vaults. Financial reasons will abandon a project facing south transept.
