ICCA is the international congress and convention association. It is a knowledge hub for the business tourism and events sector, with members in nearly 100 countries around the world who are specialised in professional event organisation, transport and accommodation. Destination Angers has been a member of ICCA for several years.

Destination Angers is a member of the leading French-speaking network for convention destinations. The Coésio network today brings together more than 70 French-speaking congress destinations around the world, fostering mutual aid and sharing, to develop the hosting and organisation of congresses within member facilities. Destination Angers benefits from the rich interactions resulting from its workshops, round tables, working commissions, training and various studies and surveys.

Atout France is France’s tourism development agency. It is responsible for reinforcing the country’s position as an international destination to attract new visitors and supporting regions to better adapt their offering to tourism demands.
It has 1300 partner members and is active in 70 markets internationally. To achieve its goals, it champions global French destination brands including the Loire Valley and Châteaux of the Loire Valley. Destination Angers belongs to its Business Tourism and City Tourism clusters.

ADN Tourisme represents over 11,000 tourism bodies in France at different regional levels, including regional and departmental tourism boards and local tourist offices, like Destination Angers. This recently created national federation of institutional tourism bodies has a role of representation, protection, coordination, support and innovation and strives to promote innovative tourism that is positive for regions.

Unimev is the French union for event trades. Its members include organisers of fairs, exhibitions, managers of exhibition and convention centres, service providers, and event and stand designers. It is an information and representation network promoting good practices, innovation and the attractiveness of the event sector.

France Congrès Evénements is the French association for congress and event hosting town and cities. With over 45 French member destinations, including Angers, its activities include promotion, forecasting, support, studies and assessments on the business tourism market.

Ouest Congrès is an association of nine convention and conference centres in western France: Angers, La Baule, La Rochelle, Le Mans, Lorient, Nantes, Poitiers, Rennes, and Saint-Malo. Its goal is to create synergies to encourage event organisers to choose western France for their future professional events.

Territorial development stakeholders must address increasingly complex challenges. SCET, a consulting and project engineering firm, supports local authorities and their affiliated organisations in their search for innovative and efficient solutions. The Scet network is a true social platform dedicated to local development practitioners, enabling members to interact with the community while nurturing collective intelligence and innovation—the very DNA of this network.
