The International Trade Show for Plant Production Techniques (SIVAL), organised by Destination Angers in conjunction with the industry’s associations and the Vegepolys Valley competitiveness cluster, is a unique plant industry gathering and a leading event in France and Europe.

The Salon du Végétal is the regional plant industry trade show which unites plant professionals from the worlds of gardening, floristry, wellness, cosmetics and food. This event contributes to Angers’ vitality as the horticultural capital of France.

Organised by Destination Angers and the professional association of butchers and delicatessens for Maine-et-Loire, this fair is the only trade fair of this scope for this sector.

The Loire Valley Wine Fair, on the doorstep of the vineyards, is a real forum for discovering the Loire Valley’s wines and producers. It is one of the key wine fairs held in the area. Other local wine industry events include: Levée de la Loire, the Demeter biodynamic wine fair, Salon St. Jean, Les Pénitentes, Les Anonymes, and La Dive Bouteille.

The world’s leading professional and scientific congress dedicated to Chenin Blanc. Researchers, winemakers, producers, wine tourism professionals, wine critics, sommeliers, sales representatives and influencers will explore, learn, taste and debate while enjoying Chenin Blanc in all its forms from around the world.

Worldwide gathering of the asparagus industry, co-organised by SIVAL and Destination Angers in France, MacFrut, the Italian fruit and veg industry show, and Christian Befve, the international asparagus expert. The International Asparagus Days event brings together the producers of 50% of the world’s asparagus.

Nature is Bike is the only festival of its kind in France celebrating Gravel riding, a cycling trend originating in the US. With the Gravel Loire Legend, the Légende 300, Défi 200, Gravel 100, 70, and Bikepacking rides, Angers Guinguette, Destination Angers’ gravel and adventure biking show has put Angers on the map as a hotspot for Gravel riding in France.

Organised by Destination Angers in conjunction with Angers Loire Métropole and Aldev, Made in Angers is the most important business discovery event in France. Every year, the event allows 20,000 visitors to discover the work of local enterprises close up.

Angers Geekfest, co-organised by Destination Angers and the Lenno agency, is the only French pop culture festival. The event attracts enthusiasts of video games, comics, cosplay, fantasy, Vikings, robots, web-series, science fiction, e-sport, high-tech, green-tech, music and more.

The Foire d’Angers or Angers Fair is an emblematic event and a key springtime exhibition for local brands, businesses and trades people, in the home building and equipment sector, and more generally for all sorts of everyday products and services.

With 20,000 visitors and nearly 330 exhibitors, the Home Construction, Property & Interior Design Show is a specialised show bringing together Home sector businesses from around the department with an extremely well targeted audience.

Angers Horse Show is a unique general public event in the west of France. Popular with both young and local people, the fair is a showcase for all horse riding disciplines and dedicated to every aspect of the equine world.

Created by the Maine-et-Loire Chamber of Trades and Crafts and Destination Angers, Arts et Saveurs d’Exception is a popular arts and gastronomy exhibition for producers of handmade and homemade products. It aims to showcase unknown savoir-faire of an extremely high standard, to encourage the next generation of artisans and thus meet the future needs of professions.

Co-organised with CALEP and Destination Angers, Angers Career Orientation Forum is the meeting point for guidance on on-the-job training to PhD-level roles. Bringing education and the business world together, it is an excellent place to find information, training or a job.
